Energy Independence and Smart Operation

With integrated smart software, the IQ8MC can operate both on-grid and off-grid (requires the Enphase IQ System Controller, available soon).

Installation Notes

• Do not mix IQ7 and IQ8 microinverters within a single system.
  The communication protocols used by the IQ Gateway differ between the two generations.

• Installer Toolkit Requirement:
  Commissioning IQ8 systems requires the Enphase Installer App v3.27.0 or later.

• Country restriction: Installation of IQ8 microinverters is currently not permitted in Belgium.
