1-Phase Enphase Q Relay

In Enphase installations, the single-phase Q Relay (the grid system relay controller) acts as a disconnection device. It is designed for single-phase operation and features built-in switches. During specified abnormal conditions, the Q Relay disconnects the Enphase microinverters from the AC grid. When the voltage returns to normal and the grid frequency is within acceptable range, the Q Relay reconnects the microinverters to the AC grid.

Operation

The Q Relay has built-in detection capabilities that can detect DC injection, as required by VDE V 0126-1-1. The Q Relay works in conjunction with the IQ Gateway to meet the need to disconnect line and neutral conductors based on network requirements.
