Product Overview

The Enphase IQ Gateway Metered 2, formerly known as Envoy-S Metered, is a core component of the Enphase Home Energy Solution. It serves as the communication bridge between Enphase microinverters (or other PV systems) and the Enphase Enlighten™ web-based monitoring and analysis platform.

When paired with Enphase devices, the IQ Gateway Metered 2 enables advanced grid management functions, and provides detailed monitoring of both PV production and energy consumption.

When connected to non-Enphase PV systems, it still provides accurate production and consumption data monitoring, but without grid management control.

CT Coil Monitoring

The IQ Gateway Metered 2 employs high-precision current transformers (CTs) to measure:

• Solar energy production from the PV array

• Household or facility energy consumption

This ensures precise, real-time insight into system performance and energy flow.
